Vector Twists

Up until about 2013 I used to create these colourful swirling images using Adobe Illustrator and the envelope distort tool inside of it. Colour was always a way of dealing with a hard day, back then I was living in another city and generally unhappy with life. You could always tell how bad a day I was having by how bright and cheerful these works got. Over the last 8 - 10 years, I’ve tried to distance myself from those works, feeling they never were art. Looking back on them now, I can see that they’re a strong part of my art journey and naively capture something special.
