3D scene

Edge angle

Edge strokes become layers that take any line effect. Edge angle sets how sharp a fold must be to count as an edge. Click the model to pick an object. The eye icon darkens an object but it still casts shadows.

The sun rises at 06:00 and sets at 18:00. At 0° it rises on the left and crosses in front of the model.

Projector view

Turn on View (O) and move the virtual projector until the model lines up with the real one. Drag to orbit, Shift-drag to pan, scroll to move in and out, Alt-drag to roll. Arrow keys nudge the aim, Shift for bigger steps.

Fine-tune with pins (optional)

For a tighter match: switch on Pins, press on a sharp model corner and drag it onto the real corner. With 4 or more pins the view solves itself and the sliders above update. Spread 6 or more across heights and depths for the best result.
